Saturday the Count and I were in New York City attending the Bat Mitzvah of the daughter of our good friends. Some dread these sorts of events, but I love them and freely admit to being a great, big softy and regularly tear up for First Communions, Confirmations, just about anything that involves multi-generations and the passing on of traditions. I am so going to be that Grandma that cries at everything.
Now onto stunning.
NYC women - Jesus I forgot what an uber stylish, smokin' hot group we are.
Agelessly Stunning - For my money the most stunning woman at the party was the maternal Grandmother of the young lady of honor. That's right, a roomful of fashionistas and Grandma smokes 'em. And hell no she didn't have fake boobs, hair extensions, or puffy lips. What she did have; close cropped silver hair, black diamond earrings, a strapless dress done in charcoal grey pinstripes with a tailored matching jacket, stunning silver and opal necklace, and red high heeled Mary Janes on her feet. I die. Utterly bananas. Trust me ladies, this is what we want to be looking like. Considering that most women treat getting ready for a big event with as much joy as a Marine preparing for a beach invasion, it's great to come across a woman whose reaction to looking amazeballs is, "I know right?!"
Stunning Defeat - New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is stunning, but he is also a dog and I suspect a head case. That's right Tom marry your super model in the church your Baby Mommy and her whole family has worshipped all their lives. Wacko. Bill Belichick is such a wacko I suspect there will soon be some form of mental illness named after him. I tend toward despising professional sports teams located north of CT and Tom and his cheater Coach Bill Belichick make honoring this tradition quite easy. So there was great joy in the Kingdom when the Giants of New York beat the Patriots of New England with just a few seconds left in the game.
Poor New England, another stunning defeat at the hands of the Giants.
